Admission to BHSON 2014

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

What classes did you complete since you applied? Are you bringing an official transcript or just a print out of your grades?

I don't have an official yet but it will be sent as soon as they can. I have Eng. 101, PSY (General), Soc, Math 137 (Algebra), Computers, Bio, Chem, Taking AP1 now. I need Micro, AP2, Communications, and another Eng. I just gave them an "unofficial" transcript for now.

I'm bringing in my updated BLS certificate to BHSN. and I wanted to say hello.

I requested my last transcripts from GWCC to be sent to BHSN back on May 22, GWCC sent them but BHSN hasn't even posted them in the system yet. It's only my last class they have me listed with 27 credits I sent them over my public speeking class. But I did notice that BHSN has my GPA of 3.5 listed on their home page.

My orientation package came today. My date is June 24th at 10:00. But my background check is due tomorrow kind of odd to only give a day notice. It says they put the pack together on May 27 but I just got it today.

I just got a call from BHSON and was offered a spot for the fall of 2014.

I just got mine today too and did the background check.. nothing like giving us a little time!

Received my package also and finished the background check. Now on to completing the other requirements. :)

Only you can make that decision. Think long and hard, weigh the pros and cons financially, and think about commute. Good luck!
