Admission to BHSON 2014

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

There is definitely no harm in calling but as hard as it sounds try to hang in there. Nursing schools whether BHSN or the CC usually pull right up to the start date. So try as hard as you can to do things to keep you busy. But also keep on top of the schools too, email if you're wait listed once a week and see how many spots you're moving or if you haven't heard call or email. Also don't forget not everyone takes their spots. They may have paid their deposit but things happen and plans don't always work out. So there are a lot of opportunities for you to still be offered a spot so try to hold on a little longer! It will all be worth it I swear.

Yes!

They ship out lab kits that contain everything you would have in a lab on campus. I was literally dissecting a sheep brain at the kitchen table with my son watching lol.

I was extremely skeptical about taking a&p fully online but it was actually a great experience!

I did a similar class for Gen Bio. I loved being able to do labs at home and redo them as needed to learn more. now I am using the same experiments with my boys for science fair.

Did anyone see the BHSON agreement that the CEO signed with UB (University of Bridgeport) ?? I'm going to call and see what this means for a BSN, there's a few news articles stating different things. But all are affective immediately and it's been finalized and signed I'm so interested.

What I heard from a BHSN student is that the BSN progression will be effective for 2015 entering students.

Hm, yeah I'm going to call. On UB's website it says effective immediately Fall 2014, but that may be regarding their students.

How long did it take for your letter to be delivered after it was sent out? I'm from Bridgeport and my letter is still a no show. It was mailed on Monday.
