Admission to BHSON 2014

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

Lol no just BHSN and westconn and QU the thing is after this semester im done with prereqs and it sucks im taking chem now so i couldn't apply. I got into QU and westconn but not there nursing programs and westconn has this thing where they make u take there chem idk i was like no im good my bro grad from westconn and got his BSN and liked it but than again he went to southern previously. So yeah

I feel like at the university there going to choose there own students over a transfer QU said they ran out of seats im like ok im good anyways with spending 40k a year

Don't worry. Sometimes reading these posts will drive you crazy. Not everyone's situation is the same or steps are the same as far as acceptance. Bridgeport looks at you as a whole not just your nursing GPA and TEAS score.

If i dont get in ill try again next year but im going to look at schools who PA programs as a backup.

The thing is I've been through this process two years prior to this one and I went through absolute hell so I try to help and inform people as much as I can about the processes and the things that the schools won't tell you. It's hard I was wait listed at the community college last year seat number 46 at my first choice and they make you apply to a second choice school and if you didn't get into your first you won't get into your second. It used to be you applied to three community colleges and you got in to at least one. The process is extremely outdated and unfair. So I have been in the shoes of someone who needed all of their questions answered and could get answers from the school it's frustrating. So I try to help anyway I can. I may sound like a "know it all" to other but I do my best to be honest so people know what to expect

I Believe it your not a know it all you went through it and experienced the bs along the way. At the end of the day your in the program and you will make it cause you have a positive attitude screw everyone else.

Yes that's exactly it! If you get wait listed it's a good thing it's better than being rejected and you still have good odds of getting in.
