Admission to BHSON 2014

Published

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

I put my deposit in the last week in January and my status still hasn't changed to student. I emailed ******* last week I am not sure when that will happen but I received the letter to choose the day or night program last week and I chose the day program. I hope April goes by fast so we can receive our information packets!

Penholder, a group board would be great and a wonderful idea. I would defiantly join. I enjoy all insight and tips/study ideas. Seems like there are a great group of people on here hopefully we are in the same groups. I know they break us up in pairs when we do our clinicals. I'm just getting familiar with this page so not sure how to inbox you my email address or where I would go to see the post.

Has anyone here taken A and P II at Housatonic in the summer? It is the last thing I have to complete and would like to finish it before the nursing classes start in the fall but wanted to see if anyone else had taken it over the summer so I could kind of get a feel for how the syllabus and tests were set up over their 4 week class.

The group board sounds like a great idea

I signed up for micro in the summer. Its my last class is it hard?

I am taking micro at Housatonic and do not find the class hard by itself what makes it hard is trying to take it with a&p at the same time. It does require a good amount of studying time if you want to do well and there is a lot of information to learn but I enjoy the class.

Im taking chem now with a&p 2 lol its a lot but im doing well i have A's

I haven taken A & P 1 over the summer. It's a very fast course. You usually have lab and class for 5 hours total and then once a week you have your lab practical and written exam. Usually on the same day.

I thought A & P 2 was definitely a lot easier than 1.

I would say if you are taking both of them together and doing well that you should have no trouble with micro.

Where are you taking your classes? There is an amazing professor at GWCC who teaches micro.

When you took the class over the summer was it 4 days a week class and your test and lab practical was scheduled for the next week or during the same week you reviewed the material??
