Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

What kind of letters of recommendation and experience do you guys have?

I had no experience but had shadowed two AA's and a Lab TA and a lecture TA are my letters, what about yall?

I have a letter from my Chemistry professor and one from an English professor. I have volunteer experience at Hospice In-patient unit.

My letters were from a Doctor that I worked with for almost 3 years and an RN from GRU. My gpa is a little lower, but I have excellent experience. I also applied to USC Aiken, but I would prefer to go to GRU. I have been pretty laid back and I have not been too anxious, but it is now starting to kick in.

anesthesiologist assistant, it was what I was planning on doing, but after shadowing many of them said that the CRNA (Nurse anesthetist) route was a much better option

Im nervous because I didn't do very well on the TEAs. I am taking it again this weekend for another school but I don't know if they will look at another one since my file is complete. My recommendations were from my Anatomy and Physiology 2 professor and English professor. Ive shadowed 2 RNs and volunteered at a nursing home.. not much.

You should put it on the list of schools to get your results. It couldnt hurt. I hope you do great on your test this weekend.

I shadowed in high school, but not anything recently. I've worked full time while attending school. My letters of recommendation are from biology and history professors.

Good Luck this weekend mereidd! Did you use any of the study guide books? I took the test twice. The second time I studied every page in the study guide! It was very helpful. Where are you taking the test at? If you take it at a PSI center they will send the results and GRU will prob get them by the 15th. If it is not a PSI center then they may not get to GRU in time.

I got an 80.7. I ran out of time on the math section. I was a little disappointed in that. So my math score was low.
