Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

HELLPPPPPPP :nailbiting:

Someone I talked to there said they are hoping by mid April /:

Ugh... I really didn't want to have to wait that long :(

I check my status about 10 times per day. :/ GHSU/GRU is the only school i have applied for. I shouldn't have put all my eggs in one basket.

I check mine probably three lol. I have applied to other schools but GRU is the only one that actually updates your status once a decision has been made!

I did the same thing as well...its making me so nervous!

I believe I'm developing OCD checking my application status as many times as I do. :nailbiting:

I wonder how many applications they have. I know they had 354 on 3/7. They had another week of receiving applications, but if the application did not have all needed documents it would be considered on a space-available basis. It took a week for my references to get their letters submitted. I know that there were more to apply, but I am thinking that there couldn't have been too many that were able to apply and have the application complete. What do you guys think?

Considering that they extended the deadline a full month, I don't think anyone who didn't meet the deadline should even be considered. In my opinion, it's insulting to the people who worked hard to make sure their documents were submitted on time.

Probably under 400 since there was only a week left to have all documents submitted as of 3/7/.

I agree! That is what I was thought also. I drove out of town twice to take the TEAS test when the deadline was Feb 15th. I wanted to be sure that it was in on time. The second time I took it I made sure to take it at a PSI site so that my scores would be in by Feb 15th. I was actually a little unset that they extended it the first time. Although, when they did extend it I took my time. I applied Feb 16th,

Finally my application status says " Ready for Review." I wonder how long it will take them to review the application. :/ what schools y'all go to?

Oh my goodness. My status just changed!!!

No change yet. I'm still in "ready for review."
