Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!
HELLPPPPPPP
Hey, mereidd and jenbrewington. It was said in the second one they would TRY to start making decisions and sending out letters early to mid March. I'm so nervous! I experience tachycardia thinking about "the letter." I'll keep you updated!

Thanks for the info!
I'm new to this forum and looking through the topics to see if I find anything else on the school and reading nurse experiences. Pretty interesting stuff.
My advice, during this time of waiting it can become quite addictive, but everyone helps you pass the time and everyone is the same boat so it makes the agony a little easier to bear :)
Ahhhh, very very nerve racking! jenbrewington, I check it obsessively as well! Definitely everyone keep each other updated! What campus did you all apply to? Did you all apply anywhere else?

I check at least once a day, it is ridiculous. But I can tell you from experience it does change!
I applied to GHSU, GSU (accelerated and trad.), KSU, and GTC! I am hoping that ONE is willing to take a chance on me
Awesome! You all will get in somewhere, don't stress! I applied to Emory and Mercer too. If you don't mind me asking, what were your scores last year and such? I only applied to Athens campus... so the chances are small I feel like /:
When I applied last year they didn't require the TEAS but my TEAS score is an 82%
The evaluation they sent out has my overall GPA at 3.47 and my science/math at 3.2.

I just wanted to add that when I applied last year, they changed our status from "ready to review" to "decision made" once they mailed a letter for you. So if your status changes they have sent something via mail to you. I am neurotic about checking it everyday but it helps pass the time while I wait :)
