I am applying as a transfer student and took the TEAS on 3/28, but I have not got any result from the school.
Another school gave me an admission, and asked me for deposite as soon as possible. But I like Adelphi better, so I am eager to get the result from Adelphi.
By the way: My TEAS reading is 61.9%, but other sections are good, am I fine for admission?
Thanks so much!

I also took the TEAS. I got 120 out 150 questions correct. I have also been accepted to the school. You can check under the "prospective students" tab, sub-category "Check status of application," to see if they have completed reviewing your application.
My status is: Your application for 10 Fall is complete and under review by the Admissions Committee. You will be notified shortly of their decision.
When did you take your TEAS? I took that on 03/28, and my Adjusted Individual Total Score is 83.3%
I took the TEAS on March 21st and received the following:
Adjusted Individual Total
Score:
80.0%
TEAS: Reading
76.2%
TEAS: Math
90.0%
TEAS: Science
70.8%
TEAS: English
Maybe I need to wait one week later.
TEAS: Reading 61.9% (This is just on the line)
TEAS: Math 96.7%
TEAS: Science 87.5%
TEAS: English 83.3%
I am not sure about my GPA, I went to undergraduate school in China, I do not know how they will calculate; and I went to 1.5 year graduate school here, my graduate GPA is 3.03
Hmmm.. I am not sure about that either. Be sure to let us know how it goes. I currently go to The Borough of Manhattan Community College and will graduate here with an Associates of Arts and about 86 credits, many of which are science courses that will all count for Adelphi. My GPA is also a 3.48 and should be 3.56 by the end of this semester.

I have a question. I also applied to Adelphi for fall, taking the TEAS on Sunday. When you get accepted into the university are you accepted into the nursing program as well or do you have to apply like in CUNY after you get accepted?
Adelphi is its own school, if you apply to their nursing program and get accepted, but have not completed your prereqs, you will have to take your prereqs at the Adelphi University Long Island campus. However, if you get accepted into the nursing program, and you've completed all of your prerequisites, you immediately begin taking your nursing courses at the school. Also, I think you can only get accepted to the Manhattan campus if that is the campus you applied to in your application.
Thanks so much. I applied to the Garden City campus. I have all pre-reqs done with the exception of micro but I'm doing that this summer. So nice that you don't have to jump through hoops with this school. You know exactly what I mean, you're a CUNY student too.
Yea you are right - The process for this school was much easier than many other schools I've applied too... And the CUNY system is pretty bad.. whenever I need to get something done in any of the offices the lines are extremely long and it takes forever to get any help.
However, NYU, on the other hand, will give me an answer to my question immediately. I've been in close contact with a few people from the admissions office and they always reply to my e-mails within minutes after I send it to them... That is why I am hoping very much I get into NYU instead. Otherwise, I will go to Adelphi.
Let me know if you get into Adelphi though.
I will definitely let you know. Glad to hear NYU is good as well. It's nice to know that not ALL the schools in NY have incompetent people working for them. I have the same problem with the lines for EVERYTHING at Queensborough. Hopefully I will get into Adelphi. Keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll keep mine crossed for you to get into NYU.
Hi, Jason, have you received the formal package from the Adelphi?
The admission officer told me the transfer student has two years to graduate, but I heard someone said it will take 3 years to graduate. Do you know how long it will take exactly?
