Anybody know a facility that offers ACLS courses in or near the Chicago area?

Acute Care Education Systems Inc. has dozens of ACLS classes every year at most area hospitals (except the Resurrection Healthcare System). Open enrollment classes can be found at www.cardiosave.com .
They also hold a yearly 'Midnight ACLS' the last weekend in January ... a deeply discounted class. You can also pick up PALS and BLS in the same weekend. These are all AHA classes.

Hands down, go to CPR associates on North Peterson Avenue. You're in and out with no headache. Not to mention they give a very generous lunch, on the house. http://www.cprassociatesinc.com is their website. The site should have the schedule of classes. They have stuff on weekends, too. They are american heart association approved. Everyone I know goes there. Just be careful if you park on side street. Some of it is permit residential parking. Don't want to risk a ticket. 773.973.6933

Hello,
I'm getting ready to enroll in an ACLS class and was wondering why there is such a big difference in class length between places. cpr associates class is only 6 hours compared to 10-13 hours at other places. Does anyone know why there is such a big difference. I'd much rather opt for the 6 hour class if it's legit.
Thanks!

Try Chicago CPR Now for ACLS classes. They have free parking, small classes and are convenient to the north side of Chicago. Their website is CPR Classes in Chicago CPR Class - Chicago CPR Now

Thank you Chris for the link! Did anyone take online ACLS, PALS courses? I just wonder if I should take in-class course vs online, any suggestions? Thank you!
My wife took ACLS online and found it to be surprisingly difficult. Ultimately she passed, but barely. It was a little nerve racking since it costs $200.
Coupon code YELP brings the price of their classes down $10
Thank you jsanteler for your input:). I c, they are much more expensive than CPR courses.
