how accurate is pearsonvue trick???? no quickresult link. :(

Published

Hi nurses!

I just took my nclex today, stopped after 75th question, i was relieved and scared at the same time. I don't know what to expect.

I tried the trick on my phone and I guess I got the good pop-up since it says that "their records indicate that I had recently scheduled the exam. Pls contact the member of board for further assistance. etc...."

but still, I don't wanna assume yet not until I'll be able to see the official result.

So I heard about the quick result, w/c is the pearson vue's unofficial result, but I don't have a link on my status. no quick result tab/link.:(

what does that suppose to mean?

How accurate is the trick?

Has anyone here got a good pop-up but failed officially?

i'm still worried.

can somebody help me. Thank you so much!

I used the Saunders ( green ) book and took a review class with Dnd Educators out of San Bruno. As far as the test I got a lot of SATA, delegation, pharm and psych questions. The test felt very foreign to me and I sucked at SATA questions. I think it's impossible for us to remember everything and a lot of it has to do with test taking strategies. Eliminating the distracters, PAY ATTENTION to what the question is really asking you ( ex: is it a assessment question vs implementation etc), read the question/answers all the way through, never assume or think what if etc?, take your breaks to re-group, and just give it all you got. Even though I did the Pearson trick I wont feel 100% confident until I have my letter! Keeping my fingers crossed!!:) I will keep you posted!! Thanks for the positive reinforcement!! I appreciate it!! The waiting game is the hardest!! Where are you taking your test?

Hello,

Just took my LPN-NCLEX last week in CA. I'am terrified! My computer turned off at 85 questions. The majority of my questions were SATA. I did the Pearson trick and got the good pop-up! Has anyone recently took the LPN NCLEX in CA? :)

I just took the NCLEX PN in California as well. Stopped at 85 questions with good pop up! Hope the trick works!!

I wish you well and I hope it works too!! :)

Mine was accurate!!!

I basically made sure I went over the chapters that I wasn't doing so well on. I did the test and read the rationals. I also did the questions on the CD. The new book should have a CD for questions? I'll keep you posted when I get my results! I wish you well on your test!!

Has anyone got the good pop-up and actual failed?

I just got done taking mine an hour ago and did the PVT and got the good pop up! I'm hoping it works!!!!

Congrats.. Hows the sata questions all about?? Is it data collections, s/sx or what? Thanks. Gonna take nclex pn next week. Im from cali too.

Sorry! I vaguely remember questions re: diet ( Ex: A patient with Cystic Fibrosis would contain the following foods? Select all that apply) and the other one was re: pharm ( Which MD order would you question?). Good luck on your test!!

Thanks!! And congrats again... Can you predict my scores if I have a chance to passed the nclex pn? Im using

saunders (red book latest edition) getting 60-70+% on each test and subjects

Kaplan (2013-14 strategies) i answered the questions and read the book once and get 50% :D

Exam cram (3rd edition the latest one) i read the book once last month then answer 1000k got 60% of it

Then im using the cd few weeks ago and getting 80-90% of it

What do you think?

Thats my only materials im using. Sometimes google and youtube for some i dont know things. :)

satas included symptoms, medications, delegating, and lab values. So pretty much everything! : ) Good luck!!
