Hi,.!
This is something about the dialysis trainings offered here in the Philippines. I just wanna ask if there are ANY OTHER canters accredited by the RENAP aside from the following:
B Braun and Avitum Phils.,
Philippine Heart Center
Philippine Kidney Dialysis Foundation
National Kidney Institute
Asian Renal Center
It seems that upon reading some of the threads in this forum, these are the only 'viable' training centers offering such course as Hemodialysis. B Braun is fully booked until July2011 and they already have a waiting list for the next batches(in demand talaga..??) It would also be helpful if you can mention something about the fees?
Thank you so much.. Replies would be much appreciated..

Hi urmischeRN!
Just wanna ask how you're doing?
Are you now enrolled in any dialysis training now? where?
I'm also interested in undergoing a dialysis training but can't find one except to B.Braun which is fully booked till Sept 2011
Hoping for your response...

hi.! I'm not yet training for it. but I'm in the july batch of BBraun in Ortigas.. Try asking at PKDF,. the cost is twice as BBraun's but you can ask for a slot the soonest possible time.

which is better?bbraun or pkdf?pkdf rate is much higher than b. braun?
Both institutions will only expose you for 5weeks at the most. There's so much to learn and in my opinion five weeks is not enough. You will only learn the basics but you wil not gain expertise in those five weeks. there are centers which offer training for a lesser fee, or even for free yet you gain expertise because it runs for 3 months at the least.

Hi guys, thus anyone here undergone training at Philippine Kidney Dialysis Foundation? I'm wondering why is that there training fee was quiet expensive. What about the quality? thus 18k worth the training? can somebody give me a hint about their training? I would be very glad to hear from you. Thanks!
