Nursing Students,
Help easy my anxiety. I got accepted into the January 2020 nursing program this week, pending at least a C in A&P 1. My school has students take A&P2 in the program itself. Anyways I have a 77% in A&P and I am terrifed of not passing. The class average on the past two exams was a D! This teacher puts 10 extra points on every test for no reason and so techically the last two tests averages for the entire class was an F. I am freaking out, I am studying so hard and my entire life depends on this class. I am going to tutoring, reading the chapters, outlining the chapters, watching Youtube videos. It really is the teacher. I feel like my entire fate is based on this one class. I am so stressed, I can barely eat. I want this SO bad. Any tips? We are currently going over the spinal cord, brain, and spinal/crainal nerves.

Try and search on quizlet for your specific schools A&P, for me the majority of the tests and quizzes were fierce memorization of notes and powerpoints from the book. Or make flash cards of your past quizzes for the exams.

If you're having trouble memorizing nerves, brain structures, etc., I found that anatomy coloring books helped me a lot! Also, laminating a print-out of diagrams and labeling them over and over with a dry-erase marker was handy. As for the physiology side of it, read the book repeatedly. Have friends ask you questions out of the book that you feel like would be on the test. Make yourself a review questionnaire (my professor gave us these with about 50 questions per chapter and they were sooooo helpful).
I had a horrible teacher for A&P II. His lectures and tests were terribly illogical so I totally understand how difficult it is to become proficient with such tough material while having to deal with that. You might ask for extra credit opportunities. Most professors won't give out those sorts of chances to just one student but maybe if enough people ask, he'll present one for everybody. It never hurts to ask!
Also, if you're taking the lab portion and it's factored into your overall grade, that can be a huge grade-boost if you do well. It really helped me out in both A&P I and II.
Good luck, you got this!

For lab, I printed out images with blanks to fill in to name the part. I printed multiples of these and did several every day. That was the easiest for me for lab. For lecture, it was more difficult, but I made flash cards for the terms. I attached images of my lab sheets so you can see an example of what I'm referring to. Best of luck!!
