ACCEPTED to Nassau Community College Fall 08

Congrats. From One guy to another, best of luck at Nassau. I graduate from there in 7 days. I can tell you one thing...If you thought it was hard to get in, believe me when i tell you, it's harder to get out!

As far as tips...study your ass off!!! Be ready for all the tests, because when it comes down to your grade each smester...thats the only thing that gets graded. Clinicals and care plans are very important, but the tests will determine if you graduate or not.

Pick up some books that have review questions in them. The better ones have each topic of content broken down to individual chapters. That way you can study what you need for the exams and leave the rest.

One final note. NEVER argue with the professors at Nassau. I dont care how right you think you are or how wrong you think they are...You are wrong. Just suck it up and move on. To argue is to sign your own exit from the program.

I got a letter in late April saying I was put on some kind of waiting list. I called and was basically told to sit tight. I made a few more phone calls to the college, and finally got the call I was waiting for on June 4th. I have to go for registration/interview etc. on 6/24. I will be in the evening program in the fall. I cannot wait!

I start NCC evening program January 09 . You never really touched on the whole interview process. My interview/registration is Dec 9th. Would appreciate your views on the whole process. How long was the meeting? :heartbeatDid you register for classes after the interview?? What type of questions were you asked???
