  1. I got a letter in late April saying I was put on some kind of waiting list. I called and was basically told to sit tight. I made a few more phone calls to the college, and finally got the call I was waiting for on June 4th. I have to go for registration/interview etc. on 6/24. I will be in the evening program in the fall. I cannot wait!
  2. I'm starting at Nassau in September. I currently work in long term care pharmacy. A desk job to be sure. I am obviously looking for something a little closer to the nursing field, that I can do while in school. I'm in the evening program so day hours are no problem. Any ideas or suggestions anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Maybe I didn't explain properly. All the people I spoke to got school paid for, while they were being educated. They worked as aides, etc.
  4. Hi There, I just got accepted to Nassau CC's nursing program for September. I am looking to get a hospital job, with some sort of tuition program. Some of my friends that are nurses worked at hospitals, got there tuition paid for and then worked at the hospital 2 years following their graduation. I am looking for a situation like that. Does anyone know of any hopsitals on Long Island off hand that offer that kind of program. Thanks to all of you for your help.
