Congrats... You will do just fine. I knew some of my classmates that worked while in the program, some even full time with kids. Don't be scared. I promise...when I picked my 3 boxes of books up in the summer prior to starting in the fall, I cried for a week. I was like, oh no I have picked the wrong degree, I can never get thru all of this material and own it and pass classes. I was soooo wrong. I graduated, passed every exam and class and just took my NCLEX- PN and passed with 85 question in under an hour.
So, keep the faith..make sure you have a support system at home and make friends in class. One of my best friends in the world is a girl I made friends with in school. It was great to have someone to vent to that knew exactly how I was feeling and all the hard work nursing school requires. It will be a fast, fun ride..just hold on. Best of luck to you.

Hello! I recently got accepted into an 11 month LPN program in Oklahoma :) I am a mommy, wife, and work part time in a Microbiology laboratory. I am praying I can handle all of this!!! I was one of 24 to get accepted so I feel blessed! I plan to bridge over to OU's LPN-BSN program. I have a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology but my GPA was not quite high enough to do a ABSN degree so I am falling backward and doing a vo-tech program and then moving forward to a BSN in 9 months once I bridge over. I am hoping that LPN school won't kick my butt too terribly bad because of the courses I have taken in the past but I am sooooooo nervous and scared!!!!
