Accepted inro SELUSON (CPR Verification)

Published

Hello All

I just got my acceptance letter from Southeastern LA for Fall 2011 and I'm super pumped. However, I just found out I need to get my CPR verification by April 21st. Where is the best place to search for accredited CPR classes in your area? And could anyone tell me anything the CPR class? Thanks in advance! :D

Edit: Too excited, inro is not a word

Congratulations! I was accepted into the Accelerated program that starts this summer. Yayyy us!

I'm not sure either, but hopefully they will give us more info at orientation next week. Someone mentioned the local hospitals. Good luck to you!

Congratulations! I am considering applying to SELU b/c I'm having some trouble getting accepted into Charity. Do you know what the average GPA of the accepted students is? I spoke with someone at the school and she said the only requirement is a 3.0 GPA. Do they accepted everyone who qualifies? I have a 3.51 on all of the pre-reqs; I'm not sure if that's competitive or not. For CPR cert., they should offer classes at your local Red Cross. I am a member of the YMCA, and they offer classes there as well. Good luck :)

I'm really not sure if that is competitive or not. I got in with a 3.59. I do know of one other girl that got in with a 3.49. Last semester the lowest was a 3.58 (or so I heard). The requirement is 3.0, but they don't nearly accept everyone that applies. Good luck!

Congrats on getting accepted into the program. I just got my CPR recert Saturday @ the Baton Rouge Surgical Center. Try to get it done before next month because they will be testing on the new guidelines beginning in April.
