Has anyone recieved one???? Ive applied to U of P and a few others but the wait is killing me!!!!! I recieved a letter RE: providence scholarship Interview and i was lucky to recieve one!! but i havent heard from U of P yet :confused:

so just wondering about others, let me know and GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Sorry about your news. Out of curiosity, do you recall how many points you applied with? I am wondering what the competitive point value is for PCC now that they aren't doing the lottery system.

My interview is on 4/27, at 8.30 am. Which might be a problem if I get one at PCC too (fingers crossed), b/c they are doing them on 4/27 and 4/28...

I think I might have had 53, but I had to re-calculate it from the worksheet and I might have missed something. My pre-reqs are all 4.0, but I still had a lot to get done by the time I applied. PCC is a lot harder for me to get into since it's all numbers-based, and a lot of the numbers come from having things done by a certain time instead of grades.

I knew I had a much better chance with an essay-based application like OHSU (waitlisted) & I almost didn't apply to pcc at all. I'm kicking myself really hard for not applying to linfield right now though. It sounds like I would have been a shoe-in.

Hi Y'all,

Strike 1 for me !!! Received the denial letter from PCC :crying2: My hopes are now down to MHCC, CCC, and OHSU. I have to say, I was no where a 4.0 GPA. You know... I never counted to see how many points I have, now that most of y'all mention it, I will have to go over my applications and count them.

After finally receiving a letter for OHSU's ABSN on Tuesday saying I was waitlisted, I got a call yesterday saying a spot opened up for me!

Just thought to pass the info on...

Someone from one of the other threads stated that for those who are still waiting for their MHCC letters, they are going to send those letters out today (Monday) or tomorrow (Tuesday).
