Acceptance letters????

Has anyone recieved one???? Ive applied to U of P and a few others but the wait is killing me!!!!! I recieved a letter RE: providence scholarship Interview and i was lucky to recieve one!! but i havent heard from U of P yet :confused:

so just wondering about others, let me know and GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Yep, I'm guessing all RN's have to be certified the same way: BLS for Medical Providers which is through the AHA. There are several options for training--I am doing mine through cprlifeline.com which is in Portland...

Rachelkj, interesting that they gave you until April 21st to respond to the alternate reservation form. Mine was due April 9th. Though they were probably giving you more time because it took them longer because of the background check...

I called and they told me 525 people applied and 48 were offered admission. They wouldn't say anything about how many alternates they chose or ranking...which makes it so much worse for all of us who are waiting! I'm also in the same boat wondering if I should get my CNA or volunteer for next year...

Is there anyone who was offered admission to the OHSU ABSN who is not planning on going? There has to be someone out there who can give all of us alternates a shred of hope! :rolleyes:

its so strange that im still waiting on my reply from the ABSN and it seems they've already decided....the email they sent me last week said they would send the final letters out the week of April 5th....It's all speculation at this point but I feel like I'm the only one that hasn't found out...hopefully its worth the wait!

ceschuft, is your name Claire by any chance? I think we had a couple classes together at pcc. Anyway, I know mine was late for a reason, but for what it's worth my letter was dated april 9th, and I got it yesterday. So maybe you can hope for the next couple days?
