  1. I also know someone who is turning down Linfield for another option, opening up a spot in the summer accelerated program. Best of luck to all those patiently continuing to wait and those on the alternate list.
  2. So now that OHSU letters for the BSN program are starting to arrive I wanted to revisit this thread and get additional thoughts on OHSU v. Linfield. I know the difference in cost and program length, but does anyone out there have any additional insights? I'm still waiting to hear from PCC, but at this point I am trying to decide between Linfield and OHSU.
  3. I feel similarly to the last couple of posts. I have to agree that there is a reason, and a good reason that the proctored essay questions are not revealed ahead of time. I also sat for a Tuesday session, and I am also a bit disappointed in the content of some of the previous posts. However, Bent is right, the damage, if any, has been done. So now I just hope for the best for myself, and for the rest of you.
  4. I just started on mine last week. I went through the Multnomah Co. Health Dept. Check out http://www.mchealth.org/immunizations/ 503-988-3828 The prices were the best I could find without spending too much time shopping around for immunizations costs. The only drawback is that they only do Tues and Wed appts. And they do have the varicella.
  5. larisagarrett31, 1005??? Really? Wow. Do you recall how many points you applied with?
  6. Hi rachelkj, Sorry about your news. Out of curiosity, do you recall how many points you applied with? I am wondering what the competitive point value is for PCC now that they aren't doing the lottery system. thanks.
  7. taz5869, I believe orientation is on June 21st. More info is to be sent in May. That is what I have been told thus far.
  8. Hi Monkeyduty, I would not give up yet. I believe more letters should be coming in the next day or so. I know they have sent out most of the letters for the summer accelerated cohort, but I don't think that all the fall and spring cohort letters have gone out. So just hold tight. Best of luck. Although Hawaii sounds pretty nice too!
  9. luclmarie, How was the tour? What did you think? I am leaning towards Linfield as well, but I'm not sure I can squeeze in a tour before I commit, so I'm curious about your post tour thoughts?
  10. Hi Bryan79, Just curious what the discouraging things were, as I have to make decisions soon as well. Thanks.
  11. Linfield letters are trickling in. Summer 2010 cohort. Now it is a matter of waiting on the other schools. Good luck to all.
  12. I don't have an answer to your question. Although I am wondering the same thing, however, I have not heard from any of the schools that I have applied to. Did you hear from Linfield today? I guess they are getting responses out earlier than their April 1st date.
  13. Hi lady143, I hand delivered all my materials (besides the online stuff of course) on Jan. 26th, and received an email on Jan 27th. I was pretty surprised that they got back to me so soon. It may be that I got my stuff in before the mad rush as the deadline approached. I spoke to a gal at Linfield a week ago and she said they haven't finished sorting through all the applications (and I am sure there were a lot of them), so I wouldn't worry yet.
  14. I applied to Linfield, and I did receive an email stating that all my materials had been received.
