Acceptance letters for nursing programs, fall 2010

I am applying for acceptance this fall (2010), to both KSU and GHC. Does anyone know roughly when these schools let you know something? As for GHC, I intend to apply for the Wellstar scholarship, so should I be lucky enough to be accepted, how much longer is the process for acceptance to the Wellstar program?

Hi, I know that I am so late to be posting this but I have a question about the marietta campus. Im confused. You would think that if you live really far away from Rome then they would consider you for Marietta. I live in cumming and getting to rome would probably take me 2 hrs one way! So I hope that not living in Cobb county is going to effect my chances of getting into marietta. I only live like 40 min. from Marietta. I would still go though, if I had no choice. I just want to graduate and be a nurse!

I was told as long as you mark on the application you would perfer the Marietta campus, it doesn't matter where you live, I've heard of people coming from all over GA to the marietta campus

Okay great thanks so much for the clarification. I did mark it as Marietta, and on my student info in the "portal" or whatever its called..It does say Marietta. So thanks, and good luck to you! Hopefully we will both be in there this fall!!

hey just wanted to ask if anyone has heard anything? i was on the website and was looking at drop/add (although I can't yet) and its saying that some of the nursing classes all almost full! like only 13 spots left.. now im getting worried. it doesn't make sense. Has anyone heard/gotten a letter yet? :idea:

I signed up for clinical calc and emailed the nursing dept asking about acceptance letters. I basically asked (in a nice way) if we would hear something by June 10th - which is the date of orientation for the clinical cal dvd class. I mentioned that I probably wouldn't go ahead with the class (until next semester) if I wasn't accepted for fall. I was told that "we should hear something by then". I know that doesn't help much, but I am guessing we get our letters the first week of June....hopefully!!
