Has anyone heard when acceptance letters will be mailed out??
If you hear anything, please let everyone know!!
I also received an email from NGU that I'm at the top of the waiting list. So who knows... It's pretty frustrating to not know what your chances are to get it...Good luck everyone!
I am with you about the frustration! It's good to know you are at the top and what your chances are now! Good luck to you as well!

I'm flipping out, too! 0_0 I REALLY wish that they'd send out more letters right after the Feb. 20th confirmation deadline to allow some of us on the list to move forward. :-)
I got some of the stuff on the checklist taken cared of, except for the blood work and the background check. time isn't my friend this year with a lot of things going on.
I just got a call from NGU about the $200 deposit that is due by May 1st. But what should I do if I don't know if they'll accept me into the program or not. The lady said that if I don't pay the $200 they will cancel my NGU student registration, therefore if I'll be accepted into the nursing program after that I won't be able to attend. But what if I pay the $200 and I'm not accepted, will I just loose the money?

The deadline for confirming your acceptance is May 1st. You would need to
pay beforehand. However, the only way the fee would be refunded would be
if you were enrolled in classes for 10 days.
That is the email reply I received when I asked the same exact questions!
So basically you will lose the money if not accepted into the nursing program! Bummer!!
I was told last year that they made exceptions for the ppl who got accepted off the waitlist after the May 1st deadline...
I wish they did! I specifically asked them if they did this for nursing students. Their reply was:
In order to get your $200 confirmation deposit back, you would have to be
enrolled in classes for 10 days. The nursing program has up until August
at the very latest to tell the wait listed applicants if they have been
accepted in to the program or not. They could tell you before that as
well. You have up until May 1 at the very latest to pay the confirmation
fee for your spot to be held for fall. Unfortunately, we do not have any
exceptions for students applying to the nursing program. But you still
have the opportunity to wait until May 1st to pay.
I think it's ludicrous!
