I'll try NikkiT. I sure hope I get one.

2nd time is a charm and it will be the same for AshBrock too!!!!

Congratulations!!! Best of luck!!!

NikkiT and pbco, when do you guys have to confirm your acceptance?

I confirmed mine on the same day of receiving my acceptance letter. I don't know how much time they give you to do it since I haven't seen the actual physical acceptance letter. They emailed me something like, "I know you're excited... you're in!". Nice and simple. :-) :-) :-)

Thx starrysky15!!! I'm super excited!

Lol. We have until June 7 @ noon to confirm our acceptance. Next deadline is July 12 for all the other paperwork.

I haven't heard anything about points for being male. I do know know that they primarily choose based on gpa and teas scores - the best scores generally get chosen first. They also like to see most of your pre-req's done, although some students in my class were still in A&P and/or micro. Yikes.

I was done with everything except the pols 2401 class they added, had a 4.0 gpa, no prior degrees, and 84 on the teas. I got in with the first acceptances.

The year I was admitted it was very competitive - there were lots of high gpa's and teas scores.

I also know that being on the wait list the year before can be beneficial in some cases - I'm not sure how that works. Not sure if its because they were wait listed or because they took another year to increase gpa it complete more classes or what.

Hang in there - I know it's difficult as I've had friends in the same situation but if its your dream - just hang in there you WILL make it!!!

I know one girl who got off the wait list in August - so don't lose hope!!!

a BIG CONGRATS to all of those who have already received their acceptance letters!! I know it has been difficult waiting and trying to plan anything else while on the "wait list". It is so encouraging to hear the experienced ones reply and know that there are letters yet to come... Hopefully sooner than later;)

thanks! :) ok, NikkiT09 had her Banner info changed to "ASN Accepted into the Program," but mine stayed the same: "ASN/Pre-Nursing, Nursing."

For those of you who got accepted, how long did your Banner info change after you confirmed your acceptance?

Does anyone know how much the tuition it so the nursing classes? Or if its the same as a regular class.

UNG has undergraduate and graduate tuition rates, but it didn't specify a rate just for Nursing. Also, they differ from campus to campus: Dahlonega has the highest tuition rate as compared to Gainesville, Cumming, and Oconee. Under the undergraduate schedule of fees, the bachelors track is more expensive than the associates track, but the cost caps @ 15 hours.

Hope that helps. :-)
