Accelerated BSN program NYU Fall 2011

Published

Hi hopeful Fall 2011 NYU students!

I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.

I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.

Love to see who all is applying and how it's going:)

Oops! Sorry guys. I'm on my iPhone. Does anyone know if they only send acceptance emails? I don't even want to say it, but how do we know if we don't get in?

I was accepted and my Albert has not changed. I'm guessing it won't until I get the official notice. Where are you all from anyway? Just been wonderin. Hope you all get in!!!!

Im pretty sure they send em either way right? Maybe this is a good reason to call! LoL

Just called lol So they said theyll send emails either way and its on a rolling basis. He said they dont just send out all acceptance and then wait to send to people who dont get in. Its all the same.

Does anyone have a good solid sense of how much the program costs? I have done some research but am not stumbling upon a solid answer.

I found 53,000 for 15 months. It's a killer. Plus living.

Nmj, where did you find that? I am calculating closer to 80k for 15 months (four semesters)- based on the tuition page from the Office of the Bursar.

Yea the price is more around $ 80,000. I calculated $74,000 for tuition, but that doesn't include any books or other things needed.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share the news that I was accepted! I was applying for other internships and volunteer opportunities that were putting pressure on me about my fall availability so I e-mailed an admissions representative and she told me the good news.

She said the official ones will go out tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!!

Let me know what housing plans end up being I'll be looking for a housemate!

I'll be looking for roommate too!! Cheap ones!

I think I went to tuition and found it there. I'll look around and send you guys the link.

Pretty sure it is not equal to 4 semesters. I'll call tomorrow

Yea I was under the impression that it is around $50,000 (just tuition) too...

hopefully in our announcements it will be more clear, as well as financial aid/scholarship stuff. I'm going to e-mail the office of financial aid to get everything figured out once I get more information.
