Does anybody attend the accelerated BSN program in NJCU? If so what is the cost of the program? How competative is it to get in? Will they accept you if your overall GPA is lower than a 3.0 but you have a very high GPA in your prerequisites? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Orientation is 11-3 at Jersey City.

Still nothing in my mail today!!!! Congrats to everyone who is in!

Did you get your letter yet???

Ok.... so I'm trying to fill out my FAFSA... anyone have any idea which year 08-09 or 09-10 to fill it out for? I tried calling the Financial Aid office but was just put on hold for a while and then I had to go to work.

Any ideas?

I believe it's 08-09 because the 09 school year begins July 1st for tax purposes. I'm not 100% sure though. I'm going to get my taxes done on Monday, and I'll ask her (if you can wait that long LOL)

I think its 09-10 because jan began 2009 and class starts in May of 2009 they shouldn't be concerned with lasts year stuff once again not sure though...

Ok.... just got off the phone with the financial aid office. Turns out we should fill out BOTH the 08-09 AND the 09-10.

Also, just so you know. I called the nursing dept. with a question, on the pink form we have to send back there is a space for our student ID. We just leave it blank because we don't actually have a student ID yet.

Great, thanks!

Hi everybody,

I will be taking the Hesi Exam soon. The subjects that on the Hesi are A&P, Chem, Bio, Math, Reading, Grammar and vocabulary. The subjects I'm worried about are A&P, Chem and Bio. I'm really worried because the study guide I have are pretty basics stuff. Do anybody have any suggestion on the science section??? Which part should I focus on the most? Please somebody help me please:(

Thanks

When you look at the study guide you might think "what, this is it?" but study it! That is really it. The study guide will prepare you as to what to know for the exam. As for what to focus on...hmmm...I would say focus on what you are weaker on. Biology for instance, if you don't know the steps of mitosis look over that... but truly everything they have in the book can really appear on that exam in some way, shape, or form. That is what I got from my experience taking the exam....but don't worry stick to the book and you should be okay.

I dunno, the books sections about the different subjects didn't seem to cover as much as what was in the practice tests included in the book. But now that I think about it the practice test was a lot harder than the real deal. What I suggest is this. You get notified of the test, and you have about 3 weeks to take it. Maybe more I don't recall. But as soon as you can schedule round one. Go in, see what the test is like, see your grade and if you don't like it, take some time to study your weak points, and take it again before time is up. We were allowed to take it twice.

Thank you Happyin09 and A.Manning

What was the total tuition cost at Seton Hall?? Thanks. I can't get a straight answer there
