Does anybody attend the Accelerated BSN program in NJCU? If so what is the cost of the program? How competative is it to get in? Will they accept you if your overall GPA is lower than a 3.0 but you have a very high GPA in your prerequisites? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.
Well am I glad I found this thread.
I'm applying for the 2009 May cohort in Wall... still no letter. If they really did go out the 24th we should have them by now. no? I think NJCU's mailing system is a little screwy though because EVERYTHING I sent them took an eternity to get to the Nursing Department. I called last Monday and I was guaranteed that the letters would be out and received within two weeks. So by Friday we should all know. I'm just glad I'm not the only one kept in the dark about admissions.
So does anyone actually know someone who has gone through this program? I believe the first run was Fall 2007... so the first group to take the NCLEX would have been fall 2008... So I'm a bit curious as too what that pass rate was. Sometimes when I look at other fast track programs this NJCU one looks too good to be true!
Well if anyone hears ANYTHING at all... please share, I'm starting to have a hard time sleeping at night... and I need to figure out if and when I get to tell my boss I'm quitting!
