ACC Fall 2019 Mobility Program

Nursing Students LPN-RN

Hello, I figured I would start a conversation since I haven't read anything in regards to ACC's lvn to rn program. I applied to the mobility program fall 2019. I was wondering if anyone knew how many are accepted into the program and also how is their ranking process. I believe if I calculated correctly I have 40 points. When will we find anything out?

I got mine too!! I'm super excited!

Got mine too and I also got the RNSG 1105 class at EVC rather than having to go to Cypress ?

Excellent news for all of us !!!

Hey guys! I'm curious how skills classes are going...I wasn't able to take the 1140 class during the summer so now have to take it in the fall. I saw where it said that everyone has to do a check off of the 1105 skills at the start of the semester and was kind of nervous about that. I haven't used the lab at Eastview before, does anyone know if there is someone to watch you and make sure you are doing things correctly? I know check offs can be particular and want to make sure I do things right! I had emailed someone but I got back a pretty vague response. I know I'm probably overthinking everything, just want to start off on the right foot! Sorry if this sounds like rambling haha, I'm just nervous even though we don't start for like two more months.

So its all very self taught.... they go over a powerpoint then in lab your kind of on your own but can ask questions. During the open lab hours there is a lab tech you can ask but I haven't done that and Im not sure how helpful they are. I would just go over all the mastery checklists and other resources - http://sites.austincc.edu/health/rnsg/student-resources/. I'm still working 8 hour shifts so I haven't been able to make the open hours- but will be changing to 12hr weekends mid august and will be available then.

Okay that's really helpful, thank you so much for the link. I guess I'll just study those and go practice at some point, I appreciate the help thank you!

Hey Guys:

I'm trying to order the Castlebranch clinical package and on the instructions it says the code is "UL30im2M1".. and when I enter that it says it's an invalid package code.

UL30im2M1 – Phase 2 – Clinical Requirement documentation listed below.
UL30im3 – Phase 3 – Student Reference Request, FERPA Release, and Release of Liability form (only due once)
UL30im4 – Phase 4 – Flu Vaccine – NOT DUE UNTIL MID OCTOBER-DO NOT UPLOAD UNTIL
INSTRUCTED

Any idea? Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Beckie

Hey Beckie, I didn't have any issue. On the site they have a hyphen there...UL30im2-M1 (I don't remember when I did it if it was there... I just copied and pasted from the site and didn't have an issue). Have you tried that?
