I will be applying to UMass Amherst for the Aug 2018 entering class. I wanted to start a thread for any prospective applicants.

also, does anyone know how many seats they offer vs how many applicants they usually get?

Apparently they changed the # of recs needed. There were always 2 required recs and now it seems there is only 1 that is required.

They told me they get about 300 applicants and accept 88

Good luck to everyone. Did you guys have any healthcare related experience. I graduated from UMass. I am worried about the GPA. I have a low undergrad GPA but my pre req's are good. Please share any GPA stuff if you like.

To be honest, I don't have much experience either. I only volunteered in the hospital for two months and I don't know if that's good enough. My GPA is at a 3.1 and pre-reqs is a little higher, so we're on the same boat.
