I wanted to start a topic that everyone could post on about their progress in the application process. I know we're all excited to hear back from UMASS nursing, so lets get something started here!
I personally applied on January 15. I went to UMASS to drop it off by hand to make sure everything got there on time. When i dropped off my application they told me the actual application was due on the 15th and all other materials could be submitted up to Febuary 1st. I did read in previous years threads that we receive an application complete emai. Has anyone received theirs yet?
hey everyone! i got my acceptance letter yesterday, too! I live in Boston and went to UMass for undergrad. I'm excited to meet everyone! Also I just joined a group on facebook, hopefully its the right one haha....congrats to all!
Congrats guys!!! And I tried posting the link but it's not working. It's titled UMass ABSN 2016-2017... But if continues to not work then someone else can make a group lol
There is a group titled that with I think two members, I left t because I wasn't sure it was the right one but that Kasia person made it so maybe you guys should try to join that one?

I'm pretty sure I just added you on Facebook, so after that I can add you to the group.
They may have been waiting to send out further letters until they get all of our admissions deposits and acceptances. Then they know how many more people they can accept and start to form a waitlist? You could also call or e-mail Cynthia and inquire if your letters were sent, since the deposit is due on the 11th.
I called last week and Cynthia said they haven't made a decision and that I should be expecting something mid-march.. I'm really not hopeful that I'll get an acceptance letter but I just want to know so I can close the loop on this and move on with my life LOL.
Understandable! But don't give up hope yet, I remember in the thread about last years acceptances, they sent out letters to the first group and then more after the deposit date once people denied their spot.
