I wanted to start a topic that everyone could post on about their progress in the application process. I know we're all excited to hear back from UMASS nursing, so lets get something started here!
I personally applied on January 15. I went to UMASS to drop it off by hand to make sure everything got there on time. When i dropped off my application they told me the actual application was due on the 15th and all other materials could be submitted up to Febuary 1st. I did read in previous years threads that we receive an application complete emai. Has anyone received theirs yet?
Has anyone heard anything back yet? I had my interview on the 30th, now trying to stay positive and patiently waiting for the decision to arrive in the mail.
I also applied to the program, my interview is scheduled for Feb. 9... keeping fingers crossed. If you already had your interview, did you get a letter yet? I am hoping I get accepted here, because I was waitlisted at Umass Boston. Staying positive.
Just interviewed yesterday, does anyone want to share the number of people listed on the doodle poll link they were sent? Mine had 60, and I was sent an email regarding an interview the first week of February, obviously there was a first round before that!
I had my interview on Feb. 9th... They said I will hear from them about 4-6 weeks from that day! I am really nervous. Those who interviewed earlier,have you guys received any letter in the mail? Waiting impatiently....
They asked me if I had any questions and I wanted to ask when we would hear but I didn't think it was appropriate to ask Guess I should have! Good luck to everyone :)
Do you guys think they sent out interview invitations in order of when the applications were processed (I got mine in ON January 15th, and got interviews selections starting February 6th) or more based on how "good" the candidate was (GPA, etc.)?

Could be! I sent my application either the end of December or first week of January, received an invitation for an interview 1/14 and interviewed on 1/21.
I emailed Cynthia and she said she would be sending out all letters by the end of February and possibly even before! So I would count on hearing by early March :)

It went really well in my opinion! :)
Now to wait for a couple weeks in anticipation.
