Hey everyone! I could really use some help. I hold a bachelor's degree in a differing field, and unfortunately have a cumulative GPA of 2.7. I am finding that most ABSN programs have the basic requirement of a 3.0 cumulative GPA, disqualifying me from even being considered
I have found one program so far that only looks at, or heavily weighs, my Pre-Requisite GPA. I am thinking I'll qualify for only programs such as this, as my Pre-Requisite GPA is way more impressive. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I appreciate your assistance so very much.
I am also in Arizona, and while I would like to stay on the West Coast I am willing to go just about anywhere.

Based on AN threads, this is not an unusual situation. Best of luck to you in your search for options.

If your GPA problems are from the first 2 years of your degree then take a look at the U of Arizona MEPN. The look at your last 60 credit hours GPA and Pre-req GPA. It is pretty pricey though.
Thank you so much for your advice. I applied to UA MEPN, their approach to taking the cumulative of the last 60 is very beneficial.
Thank you so much, HouTx for your encouragement

Im in the same boat too. I applied to Elm programs and didnt get in. Trying the ABsn or Bsn route and seeing what schools weigh the science gpa and not my overall cum gpa.
