ABSN options for non-ideal GPA?

Published

So I’m in California, but I’ve seen how competitive ABSN programs are here so I’m considering going out of state. However, there are so many programs and I have no clue where I even have a chance of getting into. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my last year of college in UCSD, so I ended up graduating with a 3.02 overall GPA. Luckily I managed to get A’s and a few B’s after my diagnosis and so my last 60 semester/90 quarter unit GPA is a 3.43. I had to retake anatomy and Chemistry since I got C’s, but I’m getting really high A’s in them right now and feeling pretty confident. But since I have to average my C’s with my A’s, the highest prerequisite GPA I can receive would be a 3.7. I’m also starting a CNA program in a few weeks, but I’ve been having trouble finding volunteer hospital programs, so I only have the 100 hours from high school.

overall GPA: 3.02

Last 60 sem units: 3.43

prerequisite GPA: 3.7

volunteer hours: none (100 from high school)

certifications: CNA

Has anyone gotten into an ABSN program with similar stats? If so, I’d love to hear where and what your stats were! Any advice is very much appreciated also
