Hello ALL!

I wanted to start a topic about ABSN program at CSULA for Summer 2018 and get some feedback about applying, stats, and more. I am looking to apply here and to other similar programs and I wanted feedback about your experiences.

Who can give me a logical answer as to why they'd ask some of us to apply to the school, pay the fees, and not offer an interview?...

They only asked eligible people to apply to the school. It's an entirely separate system...you could technically get into the program but not into the university itself.

Also...I forgot what Kathleen told me about clinical rotations. She said we would be doing them during the weekend? Was it every weekend or every other weekend? Did anyone ask about that?

I believe you chose clinical rotation times. There's a variety I think.

For those of you who didn't get interviews to CSULA, maybe apply to Concordia University's program if you haven't applied there already? I have an interview tomorrow for their summer program. They also have a fall program and the application deadline is June 1!

Has anyone heard anything yet? From the program or from the university about our regular applications? This is slowly killing my nerves.

a former absn graduate told me she got her acceptance call/email on march 24th. so possibly this wed thru friday.

The past two years a lot of people found out the 21st - 24th according to these boards...so I'm really hoping this week!

Not sure. She told me during my interview we would know by the end of March. Not sure if there would be time to set up/do more interviews.

I'm still waiting for an invitation for the interview...it's almost March 21st, applicants got their results on that day in the past couple years. I'm so anxious right now:cry:

I am in the same boat Last year, someone mentioned a rejection email before March 17th, so maybe there is still some hope?

I think they are really behind this year as well. I emailed them today asking if there are still going to be interview invitations coming and they have yet to respond. so we will see....
