Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I was wondering do you take Anatomy & Physiology together or separate? I am a pre-nursing student and I am getting ready to start taking my pre-reqs and I am not quite sure if you take them together or not!!! And if anyone could give some helpful websites for Anatomy & physiology, ones that give notes and other materials that I could print so that I can learn the material better. would also be great, thanks:balloons:

I have some DVD's I purchased some time ago. These may be helpful.

Here in Oklahoma, you have to take those classes separatley. Anatomy is the pre-req to physiology. They are offered together though for other majors. :uhoh3:

;)Hello, I am taking anatomy and physiology this fall 2007 in NYC. Anantomy and physiology is called a&p, and it is one class. There is also a lab with it. For pre-clinical nursing you have to take a&p1 and a&p2. There is this great site where you can get a head start, it's http://webcast.berkeley.edu/course_details. Good luck!

I just completed A&P 1. I took it together with lab. During lab, we looked at the human body. We worked with a microscope and also worked with dissection kits. We also worked on the computer and looked at the human body.

Has anyone taken A&P online? I am taking A&P I online this fall and have no clue what to expect for the labs...any ideas?

You should probably check with the nursing school you are applying for. You don't want to have to retake Anatomy and Physiology again.

you should try this web page http://www.mhhe.com/biosci2/anatomyrevealed/

It is great. Do the demo and then decide if it is worht purchasing.

You do diesection, quizes, etc.

I love it!

Good Luck!
