Congratulations on getting an interview! The interview I had with them was very laid back. Everyone was very nice. They had a few questions about why I wanted to be a nurse and why I wanted to go to Abington. If you have any questions about the program, they will be happy to answer those during the interview as well. Did you apply for day or evening/weekend?

Thank you very much! Someone had told me that when they interviewed the first thing they had to do when they arrived was write an essay. I wasn't sure if that was part of the interview process. I applied for the evening/weekend option.

Yes, I had to write an essay, too. There was only room for a few paragraphs, so it wasn't too terrible. I'm in the evening/weekend program and I hope to see you there in August. Be sure to let us know how the interview goes!

I took my application essay to review, any questions I had about the program and a few pencils (for the essay). Other than, just relax, smile and remember that they want you to like them too.

I just had my intereview last week as well....on friday. Mine went really well..how did yours go? I just wonder how many people get interviews....I just want to know how close I am to getting into the program. I applied for evening weekend

I think the interview went pretty well. I know...I just want to know already. I do not know how many people they interview. I applied for the evening/weekend program too!

jen2sul.. i had an interviem feb 4. It went really well too. I ask them about my chances of getting accepted and they say i have a pretty good chance. I'm waiting for my letter now. This will be a dream come true for me so i'm waiting breathlessly and hoping and praying and everything else. They told me that their wll be 66 people for the day and 66 for night and weekends. i choose nights and weekends. They also told me that they have a waitng list for people who don't get in this year. it seems like they interviewed so many people! This is going ot be the longest month ever. I feel like my world will end if I don't get accepted. What is your back up plan? I really don't have one at this point. I tried to get into the ACE program at Drexel but I need more classes to get in..but I still have a chance for Spring 2010 but I really want Abington..I have heard such good things. Please please write when you get your letter!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel Jen2Sul. I went on my interview in Dec, and I'm still waiting. Like you my interview went well also. I really really really want to get into Abington this fall. I have no back up plan and this is my dream. I'm trying to be patient and not think about my letter, but everyday when I arrive home I find my heart pounding as I reach into my mailbox. I was told that regular descision would be notified by Feb 15th, but I don't think thats going to happen this year at least. I spoke with someone at the school and they said all letters will be going out in March. I am going for the eve/weeken. Good luck to you and maybe we'll meet in Aug.
