a few more abbreviations?

Yes, I learned the "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"... If I were a non-assertive person, would I have defended frappachino against getting blasted? I have yet to take an assertiveness class--and I am female.

Believe me, I've had many not-nice things I could've said in response to posts I seen in the past. I have opinions (and no, not all bad) about different people that frequent this BB. I feel like this site was designed for nurses and future-nurses to come to for support and help and I don't think anyone should have to fear being blasted for asking or commenting on things. And yes, I will say not-nice things to people... this just isn't the place for it.

Did she REALLY step on anyone's toes? No. She just asked a question. Anyone care to guess why she hasn't responded or been back?

I kinda agree.

I'm a little shocked that this person didn't know, but after all, they are a student, not a nurse. If they get blasted for asking a question, they may never ask a question again - and that leads to a very dangerous nurse, or very dangerous ANYONE for that matter.

First, i really think nurses should stick together and help each other when necessary.

However, I have only been in nursing school for one month and i knew every abbreviation she needed to know. Also, I have, and she should too, a medical dictionary with abbreviations in it. On top of all that, i did a quick search(5 minutes) and found a website with all of the abbreviations there too. Now she obviously has access to the internet. So I have to assume that she just didnt feel like taking the innitiative to find them herself.

As for the rest of you, what if i just start putting my homework questions up here for you to answer for me instead of opening my textbooks to find them myself. I'm sure that after the first few you too would get irritated with me.
