I'm so sorry pkt00!

I think you should go to your interview. You aren't officially licensed yet but you can ask for the job as a graduate nurse. Tell them before they ask...I won't say lie but if you schedule your second test before you go you can tell them "I'm not officially licensed as of yet. I'm scheduled to take the nclex on Oct 15" or whatever day you've registered for. so your not lying but your not walking in and saying your taking it again..unless of course your asked. Then be honest.

Now that you've taken it you have a way better chance to pass. You've seen the formats, your comfortable w/ the testing procedure and how to pace yourself and you do have a better gauge as to what areas are most important to focus on. I was shocked to be honest about the majority of my questions and the area they came from. Of course I know your going to have a different test/questions but still.

If you feel your not prepared I would suggest a great review book. It's the one I used for the Hesi exit too. It's the hesi nclex review. They have an LVN and a RN version. You can find the older versions online cheap. Don't pay for the most current one because of the disc. It's very limited. Not worth the extra money when u can use an older one for like 1/4 the price.

well i went to the interview and i recieved a call for a second interview. ( keeping my fingers crossed ) Thank you very much for the support guys. People who haven't walked in our shoes don't understand the stress of all this, to them its like " whats the big deal ?" Getting into and finishing nursing school is no joke that alone is a great accomplishment but getting your license is another.
