Recently I posted wondering how everyone chose their "specialty" in nursing, because I have no clue what I want to do yet. Surfing the net I found this site that asks questions that may help narrow things down. I think it's intended for physicians, but it has the same results. Check it out!

My top three were Dermatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Radiation Oncology. I wasnt suprised by the last two but I've never even considered Dermatology!
Ha! Those were my top three as well...in that order! I wasn't surprised by Physical Medicine/Rehab, but I was by the other two.
Preventive Medicine
Emergency Medicine
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Dermatology
Family Practice
I used to want to be a doctor. I never cared about derm because it's so specific and I like breadth. Other than that it's pretty spot on other than prev. med. Who really wants or cares about prventive medicine?

My top 4 were:
Emergency Medicine
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Medical Oncology
Anesthesiology
Pretty cool because I have thought about working as an advanced practice nurse in the ER or an oncology floor.
