No offense intended, Scrub Monkey, but this is not a very credible site.

Some of what she says is factual, much of it is not. Is the person running the site a doctor, a scientist, a NP or PA? Well no. She is an HHP. I had to look that up. It stands for holistic healthcare professional. Nothing wrong with that. I am an HHP as well, but this woman is distorting information deliberately.

Despite her description, swine flu is not described as mild any longer by the WHO. It is more similar to the 1957 pandemic which was moderate. It causes mild to moderate s/s in most cases but 40% of those that have died have had no prior existing health problems. These deaths are quite random. We do not know why this is so. For pregnant women, the risk is more obvious, and the odds of severe outcome are much worse, but she does not tell you this.

And here is the almost obligatory distortion that occurs on all the antivaccine sites. She includes this information but neglects to say that adjuvants are not licensed to be used in the US. Yes, they were ordered as an emergency measure for the national stockpile, but the decision was made not to use them. She wants you to think that they are being used.

And, the thimerosal? You have a choice about this. Not all of the vaccine contains thimerosal. If you really believe that it is harmful, choose the single dose syringes that do not contain it.

Most H1N1 vaccine doses will likely contain controversial ingredients including thimerosal...There is also significant concern regarding the possible use of squalene-based adjuvants ASO4 and MF59...

This fall, how many of the one million Americans who now have or had H1N1 will be told that they should have their antibody levels titered before getting the vaccine? And if the virus reassorts and mutates, then yes, it's possible that you would no longer be immune. But that also means that the vaccine, developed many months earlier based on the seed virus at that point in time, is also unlikely to work anymore.

Antibody titers? Dream on? That is not going to happen especially if the pandemic is still in progress. She does not seem to understand the history of pandemic viruses very well. The novel swine flu strain was the predominant virus in the southern hemisphere's flu season. It crowded out the seasonal influenzas. The pandemic virus will become the next seasonal virus. As such it will be included in next year's seasonal flu vaccine. That's right, there will a new seasonal vaccine as there is every year, and the new flu is likely to be included.

The following is rather incredible. Has any nurse on this site ever reused a syringe for more than one patient by only changing the needles tips between patients? Surely, she is joking? I don't even believe that she is saying this...

The injection-form H1N1 vaccines are mostly in multi-dose vials, and contain thimerosal (49.6% ethyl mercury). Injection syringes and needles will need to be replaced for every single vaccine recipient. If only the needle tips are changed, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, HIV, and other diseases can be easily spread amongst vaccine recipients.

If you refer back to my post, I mentioned a "nice grouping of facts and reference linked info." Her opinions notwithstanding, there is a fair amount of well reported and referenced material just the same if you click on the links to the actual articles. I do notice however you seem to be guilty of the same, as I don't understand where you got the following info from below, as I have sources that speak to the contrary, http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=14851 whereas, am I to trust your opinion alone; afterall, you too could be an HHP that is guilty of, how did you put it, "distorting information deliberately."

I love how every single quote provided is either:

a) out of context to the currently discussed vaccinations;

b) from an author with a known (and often listed!) preexisting bias against vaccinations or medicine in general;

and/or c) from an author who stands to profit from their particular brand of crazy.

Nobody is surprised at all that the anti-vaccination naturalistic fallacy bunch is against a new vaccine. It's an easy target, to be sure.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go detoxify my body with some healing crystals and clear my mind with some brain repair formula and I'll need to run by the bank because I only have 7 more payments of $59.99 left until good health. Oh, and modern medicine is just a giant for-profit conspiracy.

I was not referring to her opinions. She was being deliberately misleading. Take squalene, for example. She wants us to believe that it is in the swine flu vaccine but it isn't.

Adjuvants are not currently approved for use with influenza vaccines in the United States, although they have been approved and are being used with influenza vaccines in Europe. Accordingly, the use of adjuvants would require an EUA by the FDA. Given these circumstances, there is reluctance to use adjuvants unless they are clearly necessary to extend the vaccine supply.

I think not. She is misleading as well.

She quotes a Mexican physician, Dr. Davila, who was saying that the vaccines did not protect his colleagues, but does not bother to tell you that of course the seasonal flu vaccine did not protect anyone against the appearance of the swine flu virus in Mexico. It's the wrong vaccine! That is deliberately misleading her readers.

In regards to the H1N1 Vaccine. I know what has been facturally put in the vaccine, therefore, I will not take it. IT is made from Asian people's bodies, and dead bodies from 1918 which had the Spanish Flu. And now they are saying that they are putting in Live Virus's....No thank-you, I don't want someone else's DNA mixed with mine.......nor do I want 1000 times the amount of Thiosal /Mercury, nor do I want Squalene , or monkey kidneys' or dead fetus lung tissue .......no thank-you.

I won't drink your Kool-Aid ! All of the people who have reportedly, died of the H1N!, did they get Vaccinated first and then died of it? Has anyone read that the there is a NO LIABILITY CLAUSE for all drug companies, doctors and hospitals who give the people the H1N! vaccines ....? Doesn't that tell you something?

Most flu's originate in warm , highly populated countries. Why take that flu and then spread it around the world to all of the people....when it might have just stayed in that locality and gotten only them. How do we know that this is not really "germ warfare"against us? How do we know if it isn't a way to bail out the medical field which is collapsing due to 50 million or more who do not have medical insurance and do not go to doctors anymore......?

Why are doctors having to "moonlight" in E.R.s now in order to make money? Didn't Obama bail out the doctors when he said he was going to give each doctor $135K to get their offices onto a nationwide Medical Data port to nationalize our medical records , plus much more of private information. Medical coding software and the best user friendly one only costs $1,000. The worst one costs $100,000. According to my interview with a doctor who tried both.

While nurses have gone without an increase in their wages for the past 20 years.!

So was that a another disguised bail out for the doctors....while the patients go bankrupt going to them??????with our tax money?????? If you haven't figured out how our government has criminally come up with these programs than you are living in a dream world.......! The fraud that goes on with our medical records and billing is atrocious! The waiting to get into to see "specialists" for friends of mine with acute problems is unethical but financially lucrative for the all doctors to get a piece of the $ pie.

The fact that there are 500,000 LPN"s out of work across our nation and our hospitals train a off the street person 3 days on the job to do the job a LPN went to school for in a Board Certified Nursing school for 12 months and became licensed through the state board of nursing.......and you let the untrained person to do invasive treatments and assist the RN in healthcare......and then wonder why Healthcare is way below what it used to be in this country.....The lack of knowledge and lack of wisdom in the healthcare field is why it is not a good thing for the patient but a profitable thing for the for profit administrators of our hospitals across this nation. If a LPN was put back to work we wouldn't have a nursing healthcare shortage in this nation and hospitals would not have to subcontract out high paid travelers and foreign nurses, and doctors. What the National Board of Nurses has done to our profession by allowing a Medical Assistant or a off the street person to perform what a nurse was licensed to do is absolutely unethical and immoral in my opinion.

They are being hired for doctors offices and being used by the doctor to do my H &P, report my labs to me and to prescribe my medications. All things if I would have done as nurse I could have lost my license...but they do not have one to loose.....If I hadn't of been a nurse.....I would not have caught all of the mistakes I have had with my healthcare. That should not be happening in a country that has always honored our education and our compassion and our experience

I am sorry I ranted on about what I have been made aware of in my life but nursing is now controlled by the AMA and the for profit corporation hospitals. I had a AMA member / internist, once tell us at the nurses station 13 years ago.....you nurses can go get your BSN's, M.A's, your PH.D.s all you want , but in a few years when we own the hospitals and the insurance companies and we want to pay you $12 a hour, you will either take it and work, or you will be without a job. Because, we can hire a nurses aide to do the work you do! What do you think about that arrogant doctor!!!! I guess he was right though wasn't he......while the woman on the National Board of Nursing allowed it to happen.......

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

Rotaviruses are major causal agents of acute gastroenteritis in man with a world-wide distribution. Enteroviruses have been implicated in infections of the gastrointestinal tract, the respiratory system and in aseptic meningitis. Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), the parainfluenza viruses and the influenza viruses have been shown to be the major causal agents of serious pediatric diseases such as croup, bronchiolitis and pneumonia, while the influenza viruses are the major cause of serious febrile respiratory tract illness in adults. Hepatitis A virus is the cause of hepatitis A, one of the major infectious diseases of the liver.

Rotavirus infections occur world-wide and are responsible for a large proportion of severe, life-threatening, often fatal diarrheal disease. Most rotavirus disease is caused by the four major human rotavirus serotypes but other serotypes are being discovered continuously. The latter are usually restricted in geographic distribution, but they could become a larger problem at any time. World-wide, the human rotaviruses are the major etiologic agents of serious acute gastroenteritis in infants and young children and on occasion can cause debilitating diarrhea in adults. Evidence of serious health consequences was recently confirmed in the Journal of Pediatrics in which CRP levels were measured after vaccination. CRP, short for C-reactive protein, is a blood marker indicating a heightened state of inflammation throughout the body.

The study involved 239 infants in a neonatal intensive care unit who were given two or more vaccines on the same day. A separate group of infants were given one shot at a time, every three days. The vaccines administered were DTaP, Hib, polio [iPV], hepatitis B and Prevnar. The findings were disturbing:

* An abnormally elevated CRP occurred in 85 percent of infants who received simultaneous vaccines and nearly 70 percent of infants who received the shots one at a time.

* Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) and severe intraventricular hemorrhage (bleeding in the brain) also occurred in infants who received multiple vaccines at the same time.

* Cardiorespiratory events (stopped breathing) occurred in 16 percent of all infants within 48 hours after receiving the vaccines.

* Infants who received DTaP, Prevnar and Hib as single injections experienced the largest number of cardiorespiratory events overall.

There are further concerns about elevated CRP levels. It was found in a study of 62 children who were part of the Diabetes Autoimmunity Study that when infants and young children have an elevated CRP level, they have an increased risk of developing Type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes in childhood.

Shingles Vaccine, Zostavax, Causing Severe Reactions

Zostavax, the new vaccine to prevent shingles in adults, was approved for use in May 2006. As of June 1, 2007, 590 reports of adverse reactions have been submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Of those, 44 were classified as serious, defined as “instances of hospitalization, life-threatening conditions, disabling illness, death or other medically important conditions.” Among the 44 severe reactions, there were two deaths.

A reaction at the injection site –the most commonly reported adverse event–was reported in 307 cases. The next most frequent events were a rash (177 cases) and 145 cases shingles were reported, meaning, the vaccine caused the illness it is supposed to prevent. More than half (59%) of the 44 serious events occurred in women, and most (43%) occurred in patients aged 70-79 years. Examples of nonfatal events included three cases of anaphylaxis in patients aged 71, 76, and 79 years.

In addition, there were 34 reports of Zostavax being given to children instead of Varivax, Merck's childhood vaccine for chickenpox. Each dose of Zostavax contains 14 times the amount of varicella zoster virus as Varivax.

Despite the reports of serious reactions and deaths, CDC official, Dr. Sandra Chaves, claimed, “Zostavax seems to have a very good safety profile,” proving once again, that the federal bureaucracy loves every vaccine it approves regardless of the damage it can cause.

COMMENT: Zostavax was licensed for prevention of herpes zoster (shingles) in adults aged 60 years and older. Shingles and chickenpox are caused by viruses that are closely related. When adults are re-exposed to the chickenpox virus from their children, the immune system is stimulated to keep dormant viruses in check. With the elimination of the chickenpox virus from general circulation, the CDC anticipates that as many as 50 million adults could experience the horrendous, often disabling pain, caused by shingles.

It gets crazier all the time: They are now creating vaccines to treat problems caused by vaccines.

On Tuesday, GlaxoSmithKline announced that it has received 22 government orders for 149 million doses, bumping the total does in production to 440 million, with treatments being made available through early 2010. GSK stands to make upwards of $3.5 billion from the H1N1 vaccine, according to reports by Reuters.

Novartis also announced that it had shipped the first batch of its H1N1 vaccine, as well as 27 million doses of its seasonal vaccine. Novartis received contracts worth $979 million for its H1N1 vaccine.

Well this is just part of my research articles that I have been doing for the past six months. I also came across today an article where the FDA has removed mercury from the many of the vaccines. I also noticed that the vaccines are listed on the EPA site as well, but I noticed they only studied 3 people in each group to determine how toxic they were with mercury in the vaccines and therefore came to in my mind false conclusions.

Mercury is still in the Flu Vaccines and any dose of it is dangerous for us ...orginally they were going to put enough Mercury in the vaccine to be used on a 1000lb human or animal...and they want to give that much mercury to a pregnant woman with a baby that may weigh an ounce to 7 lbs!!!!!! You know if your a nurse, that that will transport to the child in utero.

Methylmercury is a neurotoxin. The toxicity of methylmercury was first recognized during the late 1950s and early 1960s when industrial discharge of mercury into Minimata Bay, Japan led to the widespread consumption of mercury-contaminated fish (Harada 1995). 1. Thimerosal is approximately 50% mercury (Hg) by weight. A 0.01% solution (1 part per 10,000) of thimerosal contains 50 µg of Hg per 1 ml dose or 25 µg of Hg per 0.5 ml dose.

2. Sanofi Pasteur's Tripedia may be used to reconstitute ActHib to form TriHIBit. TriHIBit is indicated for use in children 15 to 18 months of age.

3. This vaccine is not marketed in the US.

4. OmniHIB is manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur but distributed by GlaxoSmithKline.

5. COMVAX is not licensed for use under 6 weeks of age because of decreased response to the Hib component.

The Chinese are using herbal extracts for treatment! And on their website they said that by the time we in the USA get the vaccines the Swine flu will have mutated and it will not be as effective. And so now the CDC wants us to get 4 vaccines, loaded with all of these bad adjavants.....

I will not advise you to not get it or to get it...I feel that is your constitutional right, and my right!

I will wear a mask, when I go to the grocery store, and I will quarantine myself if I get it. Which is far more than what was done with the HIV/AIDS and Hepititis B & C virus's a few years ago.....! When we all know its in every body fluid in the body!

And lives on a counter top for 8 days! The Flu lives 24 hrs...

I do hope all of you who have taken it will not get the flu this year.....if that is what the purpose of it is!

I also hope that you won't get a compromised immune system down the road 5 years from now too.

I hope they will do stats on those who get really sick and or die from the H1N1 flu, I hope they ask them if they recieved the H1N1 vaccines? 2+2=4.

I am sure if we who don't take the flu vaccine and don't get the flu , I hope they record those stats too.

If we die then I hope they record that stat too.
