A&P2 10-week summer session...

Published

Anyone work part-time while taking A&P during a summer session? Trying to get a feel for how many hours I'll be able to handle working. I know everyone is different and can handle different loads but I'm just looking for a general consensus. Thanks:)

I worked and took A&P 2 in the summer. It is doable, as long as you don't expect to do anything else :)

Oh, I'm pretty much preparing myself for that. I worked full time and took Biology last summer and I didn't have a life last summer either. lol Do you mind if I ask how many hours you worked each week?

If you can devote yourself to studying fulltime in addition to the job, it is doable.

I took the course during the summer and worked part time 3-4 days a week. So about 20-25 hours a week. It was tough but I was able to get a bit of studying done during my breaks (notecard reviews, listening to recorded lectures etc) but not sure if that would be realistic for you. If you're great with time management than it won't be a problem! Good luck! :)

I get an hour lunch so I could study during and I'll probably work 3 days a week, 8 hours each day, then class is 2 of those days at night from 5-10. So 2 days would be shot working and going to school, but I'd have one night after work and then 4 whole days to study. I'm taking A&P 1 now with human growth and working full-time so I have to see how well I manage this semester.
