Hello all! Iam new here *but have been a "lurker" for a long time* I start A&P on Monday and I am nervous to say the least..I managed to get A's out of my bio classes last semester (no life, lots of studying) so I am somewhat hopeful I will make this!!
Is there any recommendations to start preparing for A&P?
I love this site! It is so useful!!!
Thanks!

:wlcmghrt::[anb]: AP is awesome, just a large volume of information to get through. I am sure you will do well since you did well in biology! Welcome to allnurses!
Thank you so much!! I cannot contain my excitement! I am ready to do this! one step closer to being an RN..it's what makes me get through the day.
I just wish I could find someone at my school interested in the same thing on here. Do you know of an easy way?

You will do fine! Remember to study every day and you will get an A :) AP is not that hard...it is just the amount of informations you have to absorb
I will remember that and run with it! Thank you so much!! I take it you did well?

Make sure you have all the books, all required and recommended books. Before the first day of class, read the first chapter of your book and read the first 1 or 2 labs. Make sure you fully understand the labs ahead of time. If you know who the professor is, search for the professor's website or on your school website and find out if there's a posted syllabus or powerpoints. If there is a syllabus then read it and make sure you're prepared for first week of class.
