A&P II and college algebra over summer?

Would it be hard taking these two courses together over a 10 week summer semester?

if you think you can do it...then more then likely you know yourself more then anyone else on here...I will be taking general bio, general chem and A&P I in the summer...so dont feel too bad :D

I took an excelerated A&P course that was only 12 weeks and I wish I had taken the normal one! Its alot harder than a normal class because you have to do about triple the amount of work in a short time period. So if you are a fast learner than go for it but if you think you will have trouble i think you should stick with the normal semester courses.

Good Luck!

Don't worry. I'll be right there with you. I'm doing AP 1 and 2 and precal algebra. It's over 2months. Tough, but certainly manageable. Consider a difficult, stressful semester as a test of your will and ability to handle nursing :D You will conquer.

I'm doing AP2, micro and general psych this summer. I was thinking of doing algebra instead of micro but I haven't had math in 20 years and thought I should do it in a longer semester. Your classes are certainly do-able. Good luck!!

You aren't alone. I am taking A&P I, Math and an 8 week psyc I am hoping it is doable!!

Hi to everyone here-

First, let me wish you all goodluck.

2nd, you guys are lucky your school are letting you guys take more than 8 units during summer session. Most CC in Los Angeles only allows 8 max and I heard from the admission office, that they might change it to 7.

I dont think that this will be to hard. With my experience I love to take the harder classes in the summer they are shorter, intenser but in most cases if you approach your instructor and let them know that you are willing to work and attend every class you usually come out with a decent grade. I find that in the summer the instructors and the students are more relaxed and you study for what 5-8 weeks intensly and then it is over with? This is how I did my Micro, and the AP's and I am planning on doing the Organic Chem this way to (now I am nervous about this class). Let me know what happens and good luck!
