Who all is taking A&P 2 ? Is there going to be a club?
OK, for all af you in A&P2, now that you are nearing the end of the semester, what did you find most difficult? I've heard from some the Cardio system or the reproductive system.
I start this class in January and would love to get a head start by readinf ahead to the most difficult topics.
Thanks so much!!!

The Immune System was the toughest
Glad to hear you did well on your lab stpauligirl!
JaxiaKiley--I think essays would be the death of me, glad to hear you seem to be handling them well!
Evbella--I think for me it was respiratory and cardiac--all the different volumes and pressures--I kept getting them confused. Best of luck to you next semester!
I am sure you did fine and I am sure you will do well on the finals. I am beginning to think I would have learned much more if I had taken A&P from the teacher I have Nutrition with. We have covered several things in Nutrition and the instructor asked if us A&P 2 students remembered..... We all look at each other with a confused look on our faces.
So, for my question; would you retake the class with the other instructor? I know most will say " no way " but what if it makes the difference in whether you stay in the program once you get in? Even if I do get an A, what good is that if I dont know all the material I should have learned? I think we are all starting to wonder.
I went ahead and took the 3rd lab test today altough my class section does so tomorrow. I think I did REALLY well and I am glad that I got it out of the way....now off to lecture test 4 on Friday and final on Monday
There are several people who are saying that their A&P classes are not going to cover everything because their teacher is too far behind. Personally, I wouldn't take the class over, but that's just me. It's not worth being forced to study when I might have some other test that I should be studying for and risking lowering my grades when I could just study some material on my own. YMMV.
But... I know it wouldnt lower my grade. I learn from my Nutrition teachers teaching methods much better. My A&P 1 instructor taught the same way, and I made a pretty easy A (96) in that class. I have a 99 average in Nutrtion now, and I am killing myself for a 90 in A&P 2. The final is going to be the one that makes me or breaks me.
Nutrtion instructor really makes you think, and I mean more of a critical/scientific thinking. He goes deep, but is really thorough, and just explains things where I grasp them better.

Well, but what else would you be taking with your repeat of A&P II? That is what I meant -- that the other classes might suffer.
If you are friendly with your Nutrition teacher, you might ask if they cared if you sat in on their A&P II class so that it wasn't on your record. My teacher didn't care, and let people stay in class who had dropped.

I am sure that you learned just enough...I wouldn't retake the class, alone from the financial standpoint. Keep your a&P book though, I bet it will serve as a good reference source once we are in nursing school. Nobody remembers everything from the science classes, as long as you have a good foundation of the important things everything will be fine. Good luck and kick butt on the final

Sitting in....now that sounds like a good idea
