Hi all!
So I'm really smart and decided to push all of the more difficult classes to the end rather than spread them out.
I'm currently in my 3rd semester and am maintaining a 4.0- so I do put all the work in, however, would like to eliminate the most rigorous combination if possible since I also have a child and will be working part time.
I'll be taking A & P II in the spring of 2015 and was wondering if it would be better to mix it with Microbiology or Chemistry 101/lab?
Whichever ever one is left I will be taking in the summer though...
These are the last prerequisites I need aside from the actual nursing courses.
Please give me your input and/or experiences!

Very interesting. A and p ll is a loaded course and so is micro. How long is summer?
If you could study and read daily I would do micro summer. Or if you want a less intense summer do micro with a and p ll but that will require hardcore studying for both courses.
Thanks for the input. Yeah I don't really see it as a win-win situation but figured I'd test the waters on others' opinions!
The summer I believe is 8 weeks.

I took A&P II with Micro and found it to be manageable. Plus, there was considerable overlap between the two courses, which was nice to have in the same semester because it cut down (a little bit) on study time!
I personally did take micro by itself during summer before and a and p second semester by itself because I could. 8 weeks does go by fast indeed but it wasn't bad as it sounds.
could you find out who the professors are? Maybe that can help you determine if and when to take micro.

I tackled A&P I and A&P II in the same short Summer semester. Had a 101 average and a 96 average respectively. If you have a 4.0 average it means you have a work ethic. You can do fine, but I would not mix the Chemistry with A&P if it were me. I HATE chemistry! Good luck.
I think I'm going to do microbiology with the a & p II for spring and then chemistry in the summer. Thanks!

I would personally recommend taking micro in the summer because I think chemistry is much easier to learn. I am an outcast on this topic however because I initially graduated with a BS in chemistry before looking into nursing. Either way, you got this!

Micro in the summer. Chem is easier and will build you up for success in Micro (at least my pre-nursing program does that).
Summer courses are very intense, but I think Micro would be a good fit.
