Hi all - Wondering what grade you got for people who took A&P1? Maybe it will give me some hope :)

Thanks!

I am almost too ashamed to say I got a 78. Truth be told, my instructor had it in for me and gave me a low lab grade, he actually told me it upset him that I just listened and didn't take notes!

thank you thank you! I was very excited to get all my grades inI got an A in both AP2 and micro this semester which means I will be applying in the fall for spring 08 with a 4.0 can't do much better then that! I will be a semester behind you so keep me posted on all you do!

Wow, you are doing very well. Just remember: If I get in you get in, too!!!!!!

I can't wait for your post so that I can place the dancing monkey and the balloons for you ;) Keep trucking!!!!!!

I got A's in both Anatomy and Physiology. I agree don't miss any lectures or labs.

Why be ashamed - that's passing isn't it? When you are a nurse - no-one will care what you received in A&P

I took Anatomy and Physiology seperate. The labs were seperate as well. I found Anatomy to be a lot of memorization. I thought physiology was harder. I have enjoyed all of my science classes and I received an "A" in all lectures and labs. Don't be afraid to ask for help. I always went in for extra help if I didn't understand something and I always asked questions in class. Good luck!!!!

I got a B in A&P 1 and a B+ in A&P 2

I sucked at memorization and the labs were difficult.

I am also going into my senior year of a BSN.

So A's are awesome, but B's aren't the end of the world.

Good luck!

A's in A&P I & II, and Bio. An A in chem lab- but only a B in lecture- I went away for a weekend and did not study- test was Monday morning and not studying enough for it made my miss an A in chem by 1 point.

Not sure how I will do in Micro- my teacher SUCKS! Very disorganized and unclear. I got A's in the other sciences because I had good teachers- this guy drives me insane he is so dull, dull, dull and did I mention un organized?

Half the battle is a good teacher....hang in there;)

I've had a few not so hot ones myself, makes life miserable.

Thanks Lori.

I got an A in Anatomy and an A in Physiology...lots of hard work but it was really interesting!

Good luck!

Me too, A in both. I made notecards and memorized every little thing. It was a ton of info but with some studying it can be done. Good luck!

I got A's in A&P I and II with lots of studying.

I agree with the people who said attend every lecture. You can miss a lot just by missing one lecture. Attend all labs, and take advantage if your instructor offers extra lab hours.

Flash cards were my best friend. I took them everywhere with me and drilled myself often and everywhere, the gym, waiting at the restaurant, etc. Scour the internet for good pictures, and if your teacher will let you, bring a digital camera to lab and take your own flash card pictures. Just the act of making the flash cards will do wonders in helping you retain the information.
