Hello, everyone. I'm enrolled to take A&P I&II over the summer. Each session is 4 weeks long. I've read through previous threads for tips/tricks for learning and understanding the information in such a short time frame. Many have suggested purchasing A&P flashcards. Does anyone recommend a particular brand/set? I've had a look on Amazon, and there are just so many options.

I made my own flashcards with index cards. I used them for learning bones, joints, muscles, and cranial nerves in A&P I. I am almost done with A&P II, and I didn't make any flashcards this semester.

My school's bookstore sold different varieties and had a trial set of each on display so one could get a look at the different sets.

Make your own! Especially for lab, take pics of the models you need to know and the keys then print them at CVS, walgreens, or walmart tape a note card to the back of the card with the answers for that particular card and BOOM! You have the lab exam and the answers in your hands! Believe it or not you will actually learn just from making the cards themselves and taping them together.

I purchased some from Amazon and it was a terrible waste. There was too many on each card to really make it practical and it didn't even match up with what we were learning in class. I ended up printing out pictures with blank labels from masteringaandp.com (was required to have the code for class anyways) and printed off there and made into flash cards on my own. I would number the blank labels on one side and on the other write what corresponded with each number. This was how I learned the bones and muscles.
That's all you need costs $10-15 bucks and they are customized to your educational needs!
