A&P at Excelsior

What materials are helpful so I can study for this A&P exam??? Someone pleeeeease help me.....

I use the excelsior study guide and the recommended book , good luck

I used studygroup101 and the content guide from EC. I had taken A&P before so it wasn't so bad! Sg also had alot of quizzes and some links for visual. Highly recommended

Specializes in Med/Surg, LTACH, LTC, Home Health.

I used everything I could get my hands on EXCEPT the recommended book because I already had many textbooks from years of dropping the class. The most helpful materials, for me, was anything that had anatomy and dummies in the title.

Can you tell me where you got the study guide?

Thanks!

Well, I got a B on the exam and as my previous post said, I had been dropping the course at a community college for years. I am not a biology person at all. So, if you are apprehensive about the exam, just use the EC content guide to pull out what you need to know from whatever resource you use. That way, you know that you are studying info that EC might ask you.

there was too much extra info in Studyguide101, i ended up paying for and downloading vangonotes dot com, audio of the A&P recommended text. it gives you the overall breakdown of the chapters and the key points. I also used the practice exams from EC and googled anything i felt was still missing from the content guide or i didnt' understand in the audio. I got an A...same with Micro exam, also got A&P the easy way, and Micro made easy books =)
