Hi,
I'm trying to set out my fall semester and need some help. Would you be comfortable taking A&P 2 and Micro (both 4 credit courses with labs) during the same semester? I'll also be taking Hx of World Civ 2 and American Lit 1 at the same time. My nursing classes will not begin until January of 2005.
Thanks for any advice.
Michelle
i'm taking anatomy, physiology and micro this summer, along with 3 business classes.![]()
to thine own self be true, but i'm determined. granted, i do not have kids and i am not working, so that makes it easier. and my classes are staggered throughout the summer, starting may 3rd, so i will never have more than 3 going at one time, and then i'll have a 2 week break before starting nursing (if i get in for the fall
)
i had to be creative in my scheduling, but it can be done. :)

good god !!!
uh ... i don't mean to be too negative, but are you insane???
i could never dream of trying to pull off such a thing. i guess you've never taken any courses like this before. or, you must be super student extraordinaire !!!
a course load like that is bad enough during a regular semester. but summer? at my school the summer physio course alone is six hours a day, every day. killer.
whoah! you have my condolences.
or, you must be super student extraordinaire !!!
i've taken a&p together before and i did fine, b's in both but it's been over 5 years.
i borrowed my sister-in-law's a&p and microbiology book, so i've been studying that on the side. i figure i'll be going in with at least some semblance of what's going on. i feel pretty prepared.
but yes, i probably am psychotic in some way. :rotfl:

I did it and did just fine. A B in Micro and A in A & P II. This was years ago, about 8 years ago. I still had to take a cadavar lab at my current school though because my A & P II did not include cadavars. I guess it depends on how much time you have to spare for studying. At the time I didn't have children, but I was married and had a full-time job. Good luck in your decision!
