Very cool!!! Well, I look forward to meeting and working with you!

You too. Congrats again! :)

FYI- I had my interview for the general medical unit last Tuesday and was told I'd hear back this week! However they say they usually hire only one person for that unit, sometimes two. Interview went fine but there were many questions that had negatives in them (a time of peer conflict, a time you messed up, a criticism you've received, etc) so those are always fun to try and spin into positives :p Congrats to you guys who heard back and were hired :)

Congrats to both of you who got jobs in Neuro! Which hospital will you be working at? I'm hoping to be at First Hill...I'm supposed to hear back this week sometime!

Good luck to everyone! The position is at the Cherry Hill campus. I also didn't hear back until a couple of weeks after my first interview on June 10th, so its hard to say how quickly they are getting through things. Try not to worry too much if it takes a little longer! :)

I found out today that I did not get the position. Do you have ACLS or any other certifications? I'm wondering what more they wanted for future reference.

oh bummer :/ I don't know exactly what they are looking for, but I am ACLS certified. I also did sports, and some volunteering at community health fairs as well as study abroad and was lucky enough to have a lot of neuro experience through my capstone and clinical in school. Best of Luck to you!

Hi everyone. I was wondering for those of you that were accepted, How long does it take to get the contract after they called and informed you that you did get an offer? I also was wondering what are good neighborhoods to live in or near Seattle? Thanks for your help guys ;)

Hey sapi, I just received the contract yesterday after being offered the job a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if this goes for all departments, but I would expect it soon. As far as where to live, Seattle has lots of great neighborhoods, it just depends on what kind of vibe/place you are looking for.

Thanks CCB1! Congrats! I just received mine as well. Can I ask for which unit? I'm in NICU. I'm so so excited. I didn't realize how expensive Seattle can be so I was a little concerned about which neighborhoods to look at.

Thanks, congrats to you as well! I'm going to be in the ED. I sent you a PM with my email address if you want to chat about where to live in Seattle.
