Anyone waiting to hear back for the BSN transfer program at Seattle U to start Fall 2009?? I sure am...I'm going crazy!

I know we're not supposed to hear until April, but when I called to fix something on my application last month, I asked when to expect to hear back and she told me the beginning of March. I am driving myself crazy waiting for March!

Anyway, there are so many admissions topics on here, I figured I'd post one for SU.

Hello Everyone:-)

I am a current nursing student at the SU BSN program with the '12 cohort and I'm just dropping by to congratulate of you that got accepted and for those that didn't..IT IS NOT THE END! If you know that nursing is what you want to do, then you will definitely get in somewhere!

I most definitely can feel all of you guys, after all, I was in the same exact situation as all of you waiting for my letter last year! Wow..time sure does fly! Just so you guy's know..it's definitely all worth it at the end..so keep believing in yourselves and everything will work out as planned!

ps: I got accepted to UW as well last year but chose to go to SU..and I have absolutely NO REGRETS:-) It's a great school!

Hey Somalinurse, and everyone else!

Congratulations to everyone who got into SU for the Fall 2011 quarter. I received my acceptance to SU and I've reached a point where I've had to make big decisions for my future academic career. I currently attend the University of San Francisco, but don't start clinicals until next spring. I'm weighing my options as to which school would be more beneficial for me to attend.

Somalinurse, I was hoping you could give me feedback on the SU program, and what are the best parts about it and being in Seattle? I'm a California kid so it'd be wonderful to get your insight. Thank you!

Recieved a call from Seattle University today offering me acceptance to their BSN program, took it. Feels so good to know that I have a spot this Fall. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

Hey!!sorry it took me so long to reply! These last two quarters have been a real challenge:-) All is good that ends well tho, and I did really well!

About the nursing program...there are a couple of ppl in my cohort that are from out of state as well, Overall, th program is not bad(especially now with the change in the order of classes from last year)! Course work is intense, but definitely do-able!!I'm a mother of two and was able to manage!

There are a few things that could change, but overall, I'm happy with the program!

Good luck to you

Hi there,

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone from lasts year application cycle who was waitlisted got in? Also, I read that there were people who sent in their updated transcripts, did this make a difference? I am really worried because I haven't taken one pre-req, the algebra class. I was supposed to take it this quarter but I think I might opt out because it doesn't work with my schedule any longer. I'm afraid that on the chance that I do get in/waitlisted, I won't be able to send in my transcript with the math class after this quarter. Sorry for rambling! Any thoughts/suggestions? Thank you so much.
