Bellevue College 2012 hopefuls

U.S.A. Washington

Hello everyone,

I have just applied to Bellevue College for Fall 2012/Winter 2013 and I just want to hear from anyone who has also applied there. What are your TEAS scores? Do you guys know when we will hear back regarding acceptance/ rejection letters? Is Bellevue College your first choice or are you guys spreading out your applications to other schools?

Thanks, RNJenn! Can't wait to meet some of you guys in person!!!

Congrats, hereshoping! Thanks for the details. I wasn't sure on time limits. One hours seems like very little time, but it's reassuring to hear someone say it wasn't scary.

I was able to get it done in 30 minutes. They're only asking for, I think, about 400-600 words. Shouldn't be much of an issue to get it done in time. :w00t:

I want to know how it grades on the spot. It kind of blows my mind.

Good question downton. I asked the same question while I was waiting for my printout and all she could tell me is...not a clue, but we're all going to be replaced by computers someday!!! LOL!!!

E-write done! Go get it over with. It is not difficult.

Hi CyndyRD,

Just a question: when you say it's not difficult, does that mean that I can just go in there cold (with no prior essay prep) and still do well on the exam? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what grade did you get on your e-write?

Hi Margritamix,

10/12, You need a 7 or better.

My advice is just read the short essay they provide you. Read it a few times, you have plenty of time to write. Pick the side that you can write about best. Choose about 4 points to back up your idea and expand on those ideas. Proofread several times for grammer and good sentence structure. I don't think you can really practice unless you want to use the sample as practice. That might be all you need to do. I had to get it over with or I was going to get an ulcer!

Hope that helps. I am going to go hit the gym now.

Great job CyndyRD! Happy it's all over with now!!!

Congratulations CyndyRD!!!

Does anyone here already have their CNA license? I did the training and passed the test, but the "credential number" expires before the winter quarter. I was under the impression that the credential would be good for 2 years minimum. Mine is good for 10 months. Anyone have any experience with this stuff?

Nope - doing mine at Kamanga starting soon. Where did you take yours?
